Take a look at what our clients are saying about working with Lytmos. . .
"The Innovation Partnership (IPart), Pennsylvania's premier SBIR/STTR assistance program, has employed Lytmos' services since its inception. The level of technical expertise embodied by their cache of national reviewers is unparalleled. These reviews are the cornerstone of the IPart's assistance offerings to clients. All of our participating economic development participants as well as our clients find the Lytmos application system and the reviews to be invaluable."
Kelly S. Wylam, Innovation Partnership Program Manager, Ben Franklin Technology Partners
"After administering the review process for our organization's grant program for several years, I was reluctant to relinquish responsibilities to an outside organization. Lytmos has consistently demonstrated a quality process combined with significant capabilities in accurately matching highly qualified reviewers to a broad range of proposals that has exceeded my expectations! Our grant program has benefitted greatly from our partnership with Lytmos."
Keith A. Gary, Ph.D., Director of Program Development, Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute
"Lytmos support has been a key factor in earning recognition at the highest levels of our state government for the James & Esther King Program as a model for other competitive, peer-reviewed biomedical research programs. It was an easy decision to renew our contract..."
Susan Phillips, Ph.D, Director, Office of Public Health Research, Florida Department of Health
"We recently renewed our contract with Lytmos for 3 additional years. Lytmos has provided invaluable support and services during a period of unprecedented program growth. During this time we also experienced numerous changes within our Advisory Council due to term limits and expansion. The processes put into place by Lytmos for peer review and decision support have met or exceeded their expectations."
Chuck Wells, M.S., CHES, Assistant Director, Office of Public Health Research, Florida Department of Health
"Lytmos has provided service beyond compare to Florida's peer-reviewed biomedical research programs. We started with absolutely no infrastructure, and the Lytmos team has built a robust web site, provides superb back-office support for high-quality peer review, offers user-friendly support to both applicants and funded PIs, and has excelled at compiling the components for our annual report.
They are a great partner for scientific peer-review: we have collaborated on innovative ways of conducting peer review, and Lytmos has been a willing partner in reconfiguring the system and providing crunched data revealing the strengths and weaknesses of different methods."
Richard J. Bookman. Ph.D., Executive Dean for Research & Research Training, Miller School of Medicine and Vice Provost for Research, University of Miami and Chair of the Florida Biomedical Research Advisory Council for the Florida Biomedical Research Programs
"As a professional who has worked in academic science for many years, I have been very pleased to work with the Lytmos Group as a member of Florida's Biomedical Research Advisory Council. I have never participated in a more professionally run scientific review process. The review process also sets the standard in fairness, which makes me proud to be a part of this committee. Finally, the Lytmos staff are knowledgeable, professional and very easy to work with. They make our job as committee members so much easier!"
Myra M. Hurt, Ph.D., Professor of Biomedical Sciences, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs, Florida State University College of Medicine and member of the Florida Biomedical Research Advisory Council for the Florida Biomedical Research Programs
"The Lytmos Group has conducted peer review and administrative activities for the Florida Biomedical Research Program for over three years. As a member of the Council that oversees this program, I have been impressed with their professional approach to all activities concerning the program. They are pro-active and provide solutions to potential problems. The quality of their scientific reviews has been excellent and the analysis of the results extremely helpful. Based on suggestions and direction provided by the Council, Lytmos Group has prepared well written drafts of requests for grant proposals and annual reports. They are highly motivated and have provided exceptional support for the biomedical research program."
Sigurd Normann, M.D., Ph.D., Professor Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine, University of Florida, and member of the Florida Biomedical Research Advisory Council for the Florida Biomedical Research Programs
"My interactions with Lytmos have come through my involvement on the Biomedical Research Advisory Council (BRAC) of the Department of Health of the State of Florida. I have been a member of that Committee for more than 18 months and am Vice-Chair of that committee. I have been extremely impressed with Ms. Peggy Shults and her associates at Lytmos with regard to their handling of the administrative responsibilities relating to the grant programs that the BRAC is responsible for. They are professional, efficient, cooperative, and innovative. They do more than perform a service. By understanding the goals of the BRAC, they have provided valuable insight to the Committee and have made important recommendations with regard to the review process, scheduling, and public announcements. I recommend Lytmos without reservations."
Herb Weissbach, Ph.D., Distinguished Research Professor and Director, Center for Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Florida Atlantic University, and Vice-Chair of the Florida Biomedical Research Advisory Council for the Florida Biomedical Research Programs
"Lytmos provided support services and peer review for grant applications for the Biomedical Research Advisory Council of Florida, also known as the James and Esther King Biomedical Research Program. Having been a member of the Council for roughly three years, I can comment both on Lytmos Group's performance and compare their work to that of another management group that preceded them. I found Lytmos to be well-organized, highly professional, timely, and attentive to detail. I did not review their contract with the State of Florida, so that I am unaware of contractual expectations, but as a council member, I found them an excellent provider of scientific review services. I found their employees competent and friendly. In particular, Peggy Shults did a masterful job of managing our meetings. In comparison with the previous provider of similar services to the council, I thought that Lytmos was a major improvement. I would not hesitate to consider them again were I in the market for such a group in the future. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can provide further information for you."
Douglas D. Schocken, M.D., Professor of Medicine and Public Health, University of South Florida, and former member of the Florida Biomedical Research Advisory Council for the Florida Biomedical Research Programs
"As an investigator, I am appreciative of the pre- and post-award process using a combination of online services, in person review processes, and over the phone technical support during the grant administration. Every individual encountered in the Lytmos organization has been stellar."
John A. Copland, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department Cancer Biology, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Jacksonville, FL and a Florida Biomedical Research Program grant recipient
"Lytmos reviews are an integral part of the Enterprise Florida SBIR/STTR "Phase 0" pilot project which provides small grants to promising companies to help them develop competitive SBIR or STTR Phase 1 proposals. The quality of the reviews has been praised by the program's steering committee, Phase 0 grant recipients, and even applicants that were turned down for grants."
Dr. William Kean, Senior Director of Quality Assurance, Enterprise Florida
