The Lytmos Process

The Lytmos Process is the backbone of all our evaluation services. It's a series of distinct steps that, coupled with our online software, enables each of our customers to obtain confidential and convenient expert feedback on grant proposals, inventions, business plans, or other ideas in need of independent evaluation.

While some of our evaluation services contain additional steps as needed, the Lytmos Process is comprised of this fundamental series at its core:

  • Customer submits idea
Using our online software, the customer enters relevant information about an idea
  • Reviewers are assigned
Based on the nature of the idea, Lytmos selects three qualified reviewers, or subject matter experts, to evaluate it.
  • Idea is evaluated
The Lytmos reviewers use our online software to provide quantitative and qualitative feedback about the idea's merits.
  • Feedback is assembled
Lytmos compiles the reviewers' feedback and organizes it in an easy-to-read evaluation report.
  • Customer is notified
Lytmos presents the customer with the evaluation report, which is accessible through our SSL-encrypted website.

The Lytmos Process is currently deployable through four different Lytmos services:

IPA: Investment Program Administration

The IPA is an evaluation appropriate for administering any competition for grant money that requires independent reviews, summary reports, recommendations for funding, and applicant debriefing.

PPA: Proposal Preparation Assistance

Considered a "first step" toward funding success, PPAs are utilized during the early stages of developing a federal proposal.

CPA: Comprehensive Proposal Audit

The CPA can be thought of as a way to receive "last look" feedback on a proposal final draft before submitting it to a funding agency.

Invention Assessments

Invention Assessments provide inventors feedback on various aspects of their creations, helping them determine the commercial potential of their inventions.
