Investment Program Administration

One of several evaluation services we currently offer, the Investment Program Administration (IPA) is a resource appropriate for any competition that involves independent reviews, summary reports, recommendations for funding, and applicant debriefing. It is designed for contests in which a high volume of applications or proposals must be processed within a short timeframe.

Who uses it?

This product is particularly useful for private and government grant making organizations, and private investment entities holding competitions that attract a high volume of applicants.

How does it work?

The IPA is based on the Lytmos Process, a series of distinct steps that support all of our evaluation services. The process is paperless, executed through the Lytmos secure website.

  1. The sponsoring organization submits documents for review.
  2. We prescreen each proposal against your stated program eligibility and document requirements and note exceptions.
  3. We select three or more reviewers for each document, based on their expertise and the nature of each proposal. (If an organization has its own panel of experts that it would like to use as reviewers, Lytmos will make the necessary arrangements.)
  4. The reviewers accept confidential nondisclosure agreements and then independently answer both quantitative and qualitative questions about the information provided by the applicant.
  5. We assemble the reviewers’ feedback in an evaluation report for each proposal that is then uploaded to our website.
  6. The sponsoring organization can access and download the evaluation reports by logging in to our website.

Throughout the entire evaluation cycle the sponsoring organization has private online access to monitor the process on a real-time basis and view or download the evaluation reports.

These independent evaluations assist the sponsoring organization in narrowing the field of applications under consideration and offer an external frame of reference in making final funding decisions. If desired, the Lytmos evaluation reports may be distributed as a debriefing response to the applicant.

How can the IPA be branded for my needs?

Branding features such as the incorporation of logos and headings displayed on documents and web pages, as well as customized email messages for distribution to applicants, allow Lytmos to operate “behind the scenes” on behalf of the sponsoring organization.
